Hello,
It seems the new UI did away with the manual sorting? If so that's a pity, because it made sense to sort entries by startup delay for example.
The current list is quite confusing, it seems entries are A-Z multi-sorted by "startup type"? Registry/Startup folder/Task Scheduler/Service? It's not really helpful, I'm afraid...

Re: AO new UI: no column sorting?
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. At the moment, manual sorting is not available in the new interface. We understand that sorting by delay or other parameters can be very useful.
We are considering adding a separate submenu where you could choose the sorting type, as sorting directly through the table header may be inconvenient due to the limited number of columns (currently only two). We will take this into account for future updates. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to share.

Re: AO new UI: no column sorting?
The lack of the ability to sort by startup delay, has taken away the great advantage of AO to visually monitor and modify the startup sequence i.e. the order in which programs are loaded.
Did a quick check on 7.01 and I believe that's still not possible. Hope you can figure out a way to bring it back.

Hello,
Sorting by startup delay has been added in: version 7.02. You can visually monitor the startup sequence as before.
Thank you for your feedback — it helped us prioritize this fix.

Re: AO new UI: no column sorting?
Thank you, it's a significant improvement and I will now stay on v7. May I suggest one more thing:
It seems that now "Sort by Status" and "Sort by Delay" provide more or less the same result. Perhaps the latter could get closer to what v6 displayed: Delayed items first (ascending sort) followed by non-delayed items. This would easily provide even more flexibility to the user.
I'll also renew an older request: provide some sort of native font/zooming/DPI increasing ability. Hope the new UI makes it easier.

Re: AO new UI: no column sorting?
Hello,
We're currently working on high DPI adaptation — mainly to ensure that all interface elements are displayed correctly without shrinking or distortion on high DPI screens. In the current version, this issue is still noticeable for the images on the bottom panel.
As for changing the font size within Autorun Organizer itself, we'd like to clarify: are you looking for a way to adjust the font size inside the app independently of the system-wide scaling settings?

Well, yes and no. I am looking/hoping for a way to adjust the font size inside AO, because v6 (and v7) ignores the system-wide "Make text bigger" Windows setting.Chemtable Software wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 8:29 amAs for changing the font size within Autorun Organizer itself, we'd like to clarify: are you looking for a way to adjust the font size inside the app independently of the system-wide scaling settings?
Yes, I know about Windows DPI scaling. The problem with e.g. DPI=125% on resolutions like 1080p (even more so on 1680x1050) is that it degrades font rendering quality for the entire system. DPI=100 remains the standard for quality, on any resolution really. Most programs are compatible with "Make text bigger", but indeed not all. AO falls in the latter category.
In any case, it's not the end of the world. AO is not really a program you need to constantly monitor and work with.
