SO does not gather info AFTER reboot, looses track of the install

I tried different versions up to 9.16, and it seems that if a reboot is needed during an install, SOrganizer looses track of monitoring the install. Is there a version that supports tracking AFTER reboot installs? It is said that it is supposed to have this ability, but it never worked for me. Each time this kind of install was madatory, SO wasn't able to handle the reboot and finish it's tracking. Appart from that, fantastic piece of software. Any suggestions? Thank you

Are you aware that you need to initiate the background tracing procedure manually before reboot? To do this, click on the cross to close the tracing window. This will bring the window shown on the screenshot, where you will be able to switch the tracing to the background mode.

After the reboot you need to run Soft Organizer (you'll be prompted about that) and then it will ask you to finalize the changes tracing.
