Do you mean the speed of uninstall has decreased in comparison with the previous version? Or it was always a long procedure on your system?

It is always been slow. Removing traces of 5 files and 0 reg entries can take 20+ minutes.

Antivirus software on some systems or other high CPU consuming software working in background can slow down Reg Organizer,

Re: removing application traces takes long time
There is no high CPU consuming software running in the background. No other application does not take 20 min to delete 5 files in user's (not system) directory. What so aggressive can Reg Organizer do to cause such a terrible slowdown?

Reg Organizer does not performs the hight CPU consuming operations, if we speak about the PC with the average performance. If there is no high CPU consuming software running in the background than the time spent by the Reg Organizer for performing its operations is determined by the PC's hardware configuration.

Re: removing application traces takes long time
Can you imagine hardware configuration which will cause Reg Organizer exclusively (not any other application) spend 20 min for deleting 5 files in user (not system) directory, and no registry keys? There is no high CPU usage neither from Reg Organizer nor any other application or component. It appears that Reg Organizer is locked on waiting for some events, or deadlocked on itself.

Re: removing application traces takes long time
In that particular case it was files in Users\<user>\AppData\Local\<application> directory. But this happens with almost any trace removal.

Re: removing application traces takes long time
You mean, that this does not depend on the application which you are trying to remove? What are the last applications removing of which caused this problem?
